Gold's pov
I curled up in my bed struggling to my best efforts not to cry. I never knew that a break up could actually hurt this much. I'm so used that I'm the one who breaks up with girls and even if they're the ones who did, I never feel any pain or remorse about it.
So why did it hurt when she broke up with me?
I glanced at my nightstand and saw my picture with her by the nugget bridge with me kissing her cheek and her blushing madly. I tried to reach for it but the pain came back, making me withdraw my hand back to my chest.
Why did you become so unreachable suddenly?
It was just so common for me being caught cheating on another girl but when I saw that tear-stained face of hers, I felt as if I just destroyed the world. I felt heavy and unable to breathe at that moment.
It's been months since that happened. My mother was a complete wreck as she saw my state when that happened but is still doing her best not to keep her down. She would tell me that I'll find the right girl for me someday.

"W-wait! It's not like that!" I tried explaining.
"Gold, just stop. Let's just break up and forget everything that happened between us." She said as she closed the doors and left the hotel.
I just stood there frozen on the spot. The girl I was with was trying to get my attention but I shrugged her off and hurriedly dressed up to run after my now ex-girlfriend. I searched frantically but I never saw her again.
